Eugene Oregon is the birthplace of Beck Painting Inc. Beck Painting’s owner Abel Beck was born at the old Sacred Heart Hospital near the University of Oregon. As a teenager attending South Eugene High School Abel would often spend his weekends painting houses in the Eugene and Springfield area with his dad. These days Abel can point out numerous houses he’s painted in every neighborhood of Eugene. From the Ferry Street Bridge area out to Barger, Whitaker to Hendrix Park, and Gilham to Spring Boulevard.
Located in a neighboring town outside of Eugene, here we feature a project we completed for our local leading Home Builder, dC Fine Homes.
The leading picture on top shows off the kitchen that won the Best Kitchen in the 2019 COBA Tour of Homes. No house painting detail was missed in this project. There is just so much to show so come on a tour with us. We encourage you to watch this video too.
We begin by walking into the home’s main entrance. The front doors are stained on the outside and painted on the inside. We wanted the absolute best coatings for this high traffic area so we chose to use, multi component, Italian, polyurethane products from Milesi. The entrance leads you under steel and stained timber beams, past the guest suite and toward the main living area. The view from the main entrance shows what many love best about Central Oregon. Sunshine!
The Elysian dining room with views of Mount Jefferson, Mount Washington and the Three Sisters. This house has furniture grade finishes on all trim, doors and ceiling details such as the one in this picture above the dining room table.
Beck provided all of the paint and stain applications for the interior and exterior of this one of a kind luxury home. We used a reactive stain on these Walnut cabinets and they turned out amazing!
Going upstairs shows so much beauty too. There were lots of scaffolding and planks used while staining and painting this part of the house. First we had to mask off all of the wood beams to protect them while we sprayed the walls and ceilings. After the walls and ceilings were painted, we then unmasked the beams and brushed on an exterior stain.
Notice how classy and clean the Master Bedroom is. And just off to the right of the following picture is the Master Bathroom where we painted the cabinets and stained the shelves. Everything was designed with sheer eloquence in mind.
Here we show the perfectly staged living space for guests. All walls have a low sheen finish and all millwork is painted with a pre-catalyzed lacquer for a furniture like look and feel. There is so much wonderful pattern and texture going on in this space making a stay so enjoyable.
And of course you can see why the owners and their guests will enjoy a nice meal prepared in this beautiful kitchen. We applied a wipe on stain followed by a spray-toner and two-component polyurethane topcoats to achieve this, stunning, total custom finish on these Rift Sawn White Oak cabinets.
